Jack Turpen is a dynamic media creator and storyteller based in Oregon, whose passion for visual creativity began in childhood and truly took shape through middle and high school. At Sisters High School, he founded Outlaw Media; a groundbreaking, student-and-staff-led program that became a creative hub for creativity and innovation. The program produced live broadcasts, weekly news shows, community fundraisers, and more. Jack secured over $20,000 in grant and school funding to equip the studio with professional-grade tools and technology, elevating Sisters High School’s media program to rival professional broadcast environments.In his senior year, Jack expanded Outlaw Media into a full-fledged elective course, Outlaw Media 101. He brought real-world experience into the classroom by connecting students with industry professionals and teaching a hands-on curriculum covering journalism, broadcasting, advertising, and multimedia production. Today, the class remains one of the most popular and sought-after electives at Sisters High School.These early experiences combined creativity, leadership and teamwork forming the foundation for a career dedicated to producing content that truly connects. Currently, Jack is pursuing studies in Advertising and Sports Business at the University of Oregon, where he continues to refine his expertise in marketing, media strategy, and visual storytelling. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with high-profile clients including Sony Music, University of Oregon Athletics, CBS Sports, and local cultural events such as the Sisters Folk Festival and Sisters Rodeo. His experience spans live event coverage, web design, multi-source broadcast production, videography, and photography, making him a versatile one-stop media professional.Whether capturing high-energy action sports or producing fast-turnaround social content, Jack blends technical skill with creative storytelling to deliver impactful visual experiences.
